She has worked in leadership roles in the non-profit and public sectors with extensive experience in working with leaders and decision-makers to improve institutional effectiveness. She has led non-profits in the UK and worked in various technical advisory roles to the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) focusing on public management and administration, re-organisation of public institutions, and aid coordination.
