Asal’s Somali Women’s Economic Summit aimed to advance strategic dialogues among Somali women, emphasising their crucial role in economic growth. Our research highlighted the significant contributions of Somali women in enterprise development, offering a fresh framework for analysing their economic participation. By documenting their experiences, the study advocated for inclusive economic reforms and partnerships across sectors. Through gender analysis rooted in Somali women’s realities, the report calls for recognising and leveraging women's economic potential, showcasing their resilience and ingenuity amid economic challenges.
